Terms & Conditions

1. Prices and Taxes

All room rates are in Jamaican Dollars (JMD) and include the following mandatory taxes and fees:

  • 10% General Consumption Tax (GCT)
  • USD $1 per room, per night Tourism Enhancement Fee (TEF)

Rates may change without prior notice, but we'll always honor the rate confirmed at the time of your booking.


2. Payment and Terms at Check-in/Check-out
  • Check-in time: 3:00 PM
  • Check-out time: 11:00 AM

At check-in, you'll need a valid government-issued photo ID and the credit/debit card used for your reservation. Full payment is due at check-in unless we've made other arrangements. We accept cash (JMD), major credit cards, and approved local bank transfers. A security deposit may be collected at check-in and will be refunded after room inspection at check-out.


3. Traveling with Minors

Guests must be 21 years or older to reserve a room. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure your reservation accurately reflects the total number of guests, as maximum occupancy includes children.


4. Accessibility or Special Needs

Our property isn't currently ADA-certified, but we're happy to accommodate guests with mobility or other needs to the best of our ability. Please contact us in advance so we can prepare for your arrival.


5. Parking

Complimentary on-site parking is available for all registered guests. Country Paradise Hotel isn't responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or their contents while on the property.


6. Hotel Events

We occasionally host private events (like weddings, community dinners, or cultural gatherings). We'll notify guests in advance if any event might affect common areas or parking availability.


7. Dispute Resolution / Issues

If you encounter any issues during your stay, please notify our front desk or management immediately. We're committed to resolving concerns promptly and professionally. Unresolved disputes may be escalated to the Jamaica Tourist Board or local consumer affairs office as needed.


8. Use of Personal Information

We use your personal information solely for reservation and service purposes. We won't share your data with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent. All guest records are stored securely.


9. Liability

Country Paradise Hotel isn't responsible for:

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Accidents, injuries, or illnesses occurring on the property, unless due to gross negligence

We encourage guests to secure valuables and act responsibly at all times.


10. Force Majeure

The hotel isn't liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, government regulations, strikes, or civil disturbances.


11. Third Party Rights

This agreement is between the guest and Country Paradise Hotel. No other person or entity has any rights under or in connection with it.


12. Waiver

If the hotel doesn't enforce any part of these terms at one time, it doesn't mean we waive our right to enforce them later. Each provision remains fully valid unless we state otherwise in writing.


13. Severance

If any term is found to be invalid or unenforceable by law, the remaining provisions will still be in full effect.

Cancellation Policy – Country Paradise Hotel


We know that travel plans can change, and we aim to make your experience as smooth as possible. Please review our cancellation and rescheduling terms below:


1. Standard Bookings
  • Free Cancellation if canceled at least 15 days before check-in. A full refund will be issued.
  • 50% Refund for cancellations made 8–14 days before arrival.
  • No Refund for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in or for no-shows.

Example: For a check-in date of July 30, cancel by July 15 for a full refund.


2. Non-Refundable & Promotional Rates

Discounted, last-minute, or promotional bookings labeled as non-refundable cannot be canceled or modified.


3. Rescheduling Policy
  • Stays of 3 nights or more: Eligible for one-time free rescheduling (if requested at least 72 hours before arrival).
  • Stays of 1–2 nights: May be rescheduled with a $30 USD fee.
  • All changes are subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance.


4. Unforeseen Events & Emergencies

If your stay is affected by unavoidable disruptions such as natural disasters, travel restrictions or government bans, or medical or family emergencies, you may choose one of the following:

  • A 50% refund
  • OR Rebook your stay within 12 months, based on availability

No full refunds will be issued under these conditions.


5. Refunds

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. For local cash or bank payments, alternative refund arrangements will be made.
